My May Goals

My May Goals

May brings about two thoughts for me: how the hell is it already May and hell yes it is almost summer time. With the craziness of getting the kinders ready for 1st grade, I want to make May goals that disconnect me from work and more on my own personal growth and my home.. It’s spring… a fresh start.

  • -Be active at least 3 times a week. I would say 4, but I have to be realistic and set myself up for success before tackling a challenge. Between, Relevate, Studio Barre, and WundaBar, I can make this happen.
  • -Post every other day. I’ve read every where that successful bloggers always make a schedule. Well, maybe I should start there and then post every other day. I’m a person who creates through inspiration and not by force. I genuinely enjoy writing and I am afraid to turning it into a chore, a have-to, but the goal is success.
  • -Finish reading 2 books. Right now, I am reading Danielle Laporte’s The Desire Map. I’m also hoping to read her new book The White Hot Truth, which releases on May 16th.
  • -Clean and set up the guest bedroom. This has been on our to-do list since we moved in at the end of February. It HAS to get done because my parents are coming to visit at the end of the month and that is where they are supposed to be sleeping. As of now, it is a disaster zone.
